Howdy -I’m new to the Butterscotch Group ;-)

My writing name is Samantha Storm. I have two books out at New Concepts Publishing and another novella coming out in December.

What they haven’t told is just how strong those Butterscotch Martinis are. 😉 Man, one martini and the room is spinning. I admit it, I’m a light weight.

My question to the group and anyone reading the blog……besides Butterscotch Martinis..what is your favorite after hours cocktail. And don’t forget to list the ingredients and instructions on how to put it all together. 😉

  1. Until recently, when the critique group met, I’d always just order a Bud Light. Now, I really look forward to the butterscotch martinis. I asked Tina for the recipe, but she lost me when she said “a splash of”…?

  2. What a neat site. We talked to Bev P. last night at the D-Rose Membership awards dinner and she told us ALL about your butterscotch martinis and the blog. Had to come say hello.
Brit—we missed you last night. Didn’t you miss picking up some roses.
Congratulations to all of you. Good to see everyone busy, happy and most of all having fun with their writing.
I’ve only ever had one martini in my life. Very dry. A neighbor fixed it. I had to walk about the equivalent of four city blocks home, but this was rural. I had to sit down at the side of the road before I made it home I was so woozy. My husband found me there on his way home from work. I’ve never heard the end of it. So now I stick to white wine. But—butterscotch, yum. I may have to try one of those in a controlled environment.

  3. Thanks for stopping by Roz, and yes, I believe there should be a few roses waiting on me somewhere. I haven’t been to a DR meeting in over a year. The butterscotch is yum. I’ve only had one traditional martini and hated it. Butterscotch, on the other hand, is a treat. But then I’ve loved butterscotch since I was a young girl…oh, so many years ago now! I hope you stop by here and tell us about your book-signing at Costco. Maybe the BSMG can car-pool to see you…and get your book!

  4. Hi everyone. And Roz, it was nice to see you last night. You looked so pretty. Actually everyone did, didn’t they? It’s fun to get dressed up once in a while. I still love wearing jeans most of the time but every now and again I like to put on a dress and feel glamorous. Ha ha. Of course, after a butterscotch martini or two I can feel anyway I want.
Anyway, it was a great party last night, Vijaya looked beautiful and she was really surprised to win the Desert Rose award. And Pam presented it wonderfully. My thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the event so special. Erin, good job.

  6. Hi Roz! 🙂 Welcome to the site.

And Brit – a butterscotch martini is made from buttershots, baileys & a splash of vodka. The bigger the splash, the stronger the martini! 🙂 Making it with vanilla vodka is even better!

  8. Hey, Cathy!

I had my first Cosmo because of Sex in the City. It was okay, but not like the BS Maritini. However, I’m new to BS Martini and I have a feeling if they aren’t made well…they could suck. And I’ve had expert guides.
